| Description: | Our highly respected client offers high quality dairy heifer grazing services and on their behalf I am seeing a stock person who can manage daily grazing operations and implementation of the farm management plan, in conjunction with the farms owners. Your days will be varied in this very hands on role. Your role will include, but not be limited to, stock management, effluent irrigation, and other farm services as specified. To be successful in this role you will be experienced in checking health and welfare of farm animals, animal husbandry, feeding or grazing to budgets, farm development and maintenance and effluent irrigation. If you have the required experience and have a high level of physical fitness, be able to pass MOJ and pre employment drug testing and be able to work both as part of a team and autonomously. A class 4 licence would be advantageous but not essential. Hours of work range between 40-45 a week plus 1-6 hours per day on alternate weekends for essential duties. Your day will normally start around 6.30am. There is also a modern 4 bedroom home available for a nominal rent to the successful candidate.
