Title: Distribution Administrator
Description: A prominent distribution company based in Palmerston North are seeking a talented individual to join their team in a full-time, temporary assignment as a Distribution Administrator from March 2020 until roughly June 2021, while their permanent staff member goes on maternity leave. Full training will be provided for the role, however it is expected that you will have the ability to learn quickly and retain information well while completing tasks accurately. This is a vital role within the company. You will be responsible for the international and domestic exports of products the company produces, including liaising with the clients and various individuals at all stages of the shipment process, creating shipments, and ensuring orders are sent according to the timeline. This is an intermediate-level administration position, so it is important that you have previous experience in administration work. It is essential that all potential candidates: Are process-driven You will need to have the ability to comprehend and process information and turn it into action. Have strong attention-to-detail and accurate data entry for logging shipments. Are organised and excellent at planning. Have outstanding time management abilities Orders will need to be sent according to a timeline which has been meticulously planned out to ensure the products reach the client in the allocated time. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills You will be required to communicate with a range of people accurately and efficiently. Those who have freight/distribution experience will be at an advantage in the application process.
