Title: Legal Secretary
Description: Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a fresh challenge? Our client is an established and highly respected local law firm, conveniently based in central Palmerston North. They have a vacancy for a senior Legal Secretary or Senior Secretary, ideally with particular experience in litigation. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team environment so should be personable, enthusiastic and diligent. To be successful you will need to be very efficient and organised with a positive attitude, professional and well presented with exceptional communication skills. You must have initiative, competence and self-drive; you will take ownership and pride in your work. The Successful Applicant will possess: Previous legal secretarial or senior secretarial experience Experience in litigation would be an advantage Dictation ability Fast, accurate typing skills A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Friendly, professional phone manner and confidence dealing with clients Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to multitask The ability to work autonomously, prioritise and meet deadlines Professional presentation Strong computer literacy and confidence using Microsoft Office suite This is a full time role.
