Title: Competent Office Administrator
Description: Job Description: We are looking for an office manager to join our client’s Palmerston North based business. The role is responsible for all office and accounts administration, is multi-functional and essential for the company. Our client is an established Palmerston North based company. They have a friendly working environment and require someone to take charge of this intrinsic position and support the team. The key responsibilities for this role include: • Accounts payable/receivable • Payroll • Debtors/Creditors • General daily administration duties • Bank reconciliations • File management • PAYE payments • Invoicing • GST returns • Utilisation of Xero, ACE Payroll and CRM systems The Successful Applicant will possess: • Extremely honest and reliable work ethic • Drive and fresh ideas to help support and grow the business • Strong experience in SME accounts • Experience with Xero and ACE Payroll • Excellent customer service skills • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word • High level of attention to detail • Flexibility and adaptability • Self-motivation, efficiency • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines • Good problem solving and communication skills • Professional and tidy presentation • Experience processing building consents would be an additional advantage The successful candidate will be extremely organised and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while also maintaining meticulous attention to detail. The business is made up of various parts, each with individual requirements, you will support and help hold the team together and assist in keeping their projects flowing smoothly. To be a good fit you’ll make light work of all aspects of office administration and accounts. You will be extremely reliable and dynamic.
